MAY, 2008

At the Cabrillo Kennel Club show on May 11, Cherokee Oaks Cimarron Trail was Winners Dog, Best of Winners, and Best of Breed under Dr. Peter Emily for one point.

In Best of Breed competition at ABC on May 9, Ch. Bix-L's Photo Finish made it through two cuts and, for the second consecutive year, was in the final group of specials being considered for Best of Breed. Presented by Lori McClain through the first two cuts and by Christine Baum-Bassett in the final group.

In Best of Breed competition at ABC on May 9, newly crowned champion Ch. Pearlisle Standing-O for Bix-L made it through the first cut to the final group of fawn dogs. Presented by Lori McClain.

In the ABC 2008 American Bred Brindle Bitch class, Kobe daughter Waterfall You Go Girl placed fourth under Mrs. Janet Sinclair. Her breeders and owners are John and Lavon Wilkinson. She was shown by Michael Shepherd.

In the ABC 2008 6-8 Years Veteran Dog class, Ch. Bix-L Time's Triple Double placed third under Mrs. Janet Sinclair, handled by Wendy Bettis.

In the ABC 2008 9-12 Brindle Puppy Dog class of 23, Kobe son Bix-L Trail's End Franchise Player placed 1st under Mrs. Janet Sinclair. Jeter is co-owned and handled by Shannon Carlson, Trail's End Boxers.

In the ABC 2008 6-9 Fawn Puppy Dog class, Mugsy son Mojave Crest's Braveheart V Andre placed 1st under Mrs. Janet Sinclair. Rocky is bred and owned by Suzie Playter and Cheryl Wagner. He was handled by Wendy Bettis.

In the ABC 2008 Brindle Puppy Dog class of 26, Kobe son Backbeat's Hot Stuff placed 2nd under Mrs. Janet Sinclair. Mick's breeders are Laura Miller and Carol Margelewski. His owner is Susan Kienzle. He was handled at ABC by Cindy Crawford-Gorath.

In the ABC 2008 Futurity, Mugsy son Mojave Crest's Braveheart V Andre placed 1st and was the Reserve 6-9 Winner under Ginny Shames.

At the Greater Cincinnati Boxer Club match on Sunday night before ABC, Kobe son Backbeat's Hot Stuff was Best Puppy over a large entry under Mr. Tony Louwerse.

APRIL, 2008

At the Angeles Canyon Dog Club show on April 20, Cherokee Oaks Cimarron Trail was Winners Dog and Best of Winners under Mrs. Dorothy Collier for two points. Bix-L's Follow My Lead was Reserve Winners Bitch at the same show.

At the Angeles Canyon Dog Club show on April 19, Bix-L's Follow My Lead ("Lilo") was Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and Best of Opposite Sex from the 6-9 Puppy Class under Mrs. Paula J. Nykiel for her first two points. Lilo is co-owned with John Bliss. She is always presented by Marianne Caprino.

At the Steel City Kennel Club show on April 12, Mugsy son Pearlisle Standing-O for Bix-L was Winners Dog for a 3-point major under Mr. Edd E. Bivin to finish his championship! Doc is co-owned with Susan Burnett. His breeders are Dr. and Mrs. Robert Hallock and Pamela Shaw-George. Always beautifully presented by Lori McClain.

At the Midwest Boxer Club show on April 11, Mugsy son Pearlisle Standing-O for Bix-L was Reserve to a 4-point major under breeder-judge Pat Healy.

At the Salina Kennel Club show on April 6, Mugsy son Pearlisle Standing-O for Bix-L was Winners Dog for two points under Mr. Thomas J. Tracy.

At the Hutchinson Kennel Club show on April 5, Mugsy son Pearlisle Standing-O for Bix-L was Winners Dog for a 3-point major under Ms. Beverly Capstick.

At the Wichita Kennel Club show on April 4, Mugsy son Pearlisle Standing-O for Bix-L was Winners Dog and Best of Winners for a 4-point major under Mr. Steven D. Gladstone.

MARCH, 2008

At the Kern County Kennel Club show on March 30, Mugsy daughter Mojave Crest's Walkin After Midnight was Winners Bitch from the 6-9 Puppy Class for one point under Mr. John C. Ramirez. Patsy is bred and co-owned by Suzanne Aline Playter and Cheryl Wagner. Presented by James and Wendy Bettis.

At the Oakland Kennel Club show on March 23, Mugsy son Glenwood-Skidoo's Law N Order was Best of Winners for a 3-point major under Mrs. Patricia A. Gellerman. Hogan is bred and co-owned by Ed and Wendy Morawski and Charles Vose. Presented by Kimberlie Steele-Gamero.

At the Columbia (MO) Kennel Club show on March 9, Mugsy son Pearlisle Standing-O for Bix-L was Winners Dog for two points under Mrs. Kimberly Anne Meredith-Cavanna. Doc is co-owned with Susan Burnett.

FEBRUARY, 2008

At the International Kennel Club of Chicago show on February 24, Mugsy son Pearlisle Standing-O for Bix-L was Winners Dog and Best of Opposite Sex for his first two points under Mrs. Barbara Dempsey Alderman. Doc is co-owned with Susan Burnett. This was Doc's first weekend out with handler Lori McClain.

JANUARY, 2008

At the Orange Empire Dog Club show on January 26, Mugsy son Glenwood's Casino Royale was Winners Dog for a 4-point major under Mr. Ekarat Sangkunakup. Bond's breeders are Wendy Morawski and Charles Vose. He is co-owned by Charles Vose and Alma Saucedo. This was Bond's second major in very limited showing. He is always presented by James and Wendy Bettis.

NOVEMBER, 2007

On November 4 at Antelope Valley Kennel Club, Cherokee Oaks Cimarron Trail was Winners Dog for 2 points under Mrs. Christie Smith. Cimarron was bred by Marianne Caprino and Diane Frasier. He is owned by Marianne Caprino, Carol Margelewski, and Beth Pariseau. His dam is a Mugsy daughter.

On November 3 at San Gabriel Valley Kennel Club, Cherokee Oaks Cimarron Trail was Winners Dog and Best of Winners for a 3-point major under Mr. Donald F. Carmody.

OCTOBER, 2007

On October 28, Mugsy son Bayview Deja Vu (ex Bayview In The Groove) was Best of Breed from the Bred by Exhibitor class under John A. Studebaker at Sacramento Valley Dog Fanciers Association. Link's breeders are Kay Isbell and Ken and Paula Morrison. He is owned by Ken and Paula Morrison. He was handled by Ken Morrison.

On October 22, Mugsy son Glenwood's Casino Royale (ex Ch. Skidoo's Charlie's Angel, DOM) won a 4-point major under Dr. Gerald M. Mager at Del Valle Dog Club of Livermore. Bond's breeders are Charles Vose and Wendy Morawski. He is owned by Charles Vose and Alma Saucedo. He was handled to this win by Jimmy Bettis.

SEPTEMBER, 2007

On September 29, Cherokee Oaks Cimarron Trail was Best of Winners at Burbank Kennel Club for one point under Ms. Dany Canino.

On September 2, Ch. Bix-L's Photo Finish (Biscuit) won Best of Breed under Ms. Maureen A. Burrell at Livingston Kennel Club.

AUGUST, 2007

Ch. Bix-L's Photo Finish (Biscuit) made a move to the Midwest with handler Genine DeMaso and won Best of Breed over a large entry under Brian Meyer her second time out with Genine!

JULY, 2007

Mugsy daughter Fanfare Who's That Lady finished her championship at the Ventura shows with three consecutive 4-point majors, going Best of Winners twice! Jenna was bred by Dotti Giovanetti, Lynda Yon, and Bob and Debbie White. She is owned by Dr. and Mrs. William Truesdale and Dotti Giovanetti. Her dam is Ch. Rosend's Sophisticated Lady, the dam of 3 champions to date.

JUNE, 2007

Ch. Bix-L's Photo Finish (Biscuit) made a trip to Canada with handler Wendy Bettis and finished her championship in a single weekend! Her wins included a Best of Breed from the classes over top Canadian specials.

MAY, 2007

At the American Boxer Club National Specialty on May 11, Ch. Bix-L's Photo Finish (Biscuit) made it through to the Top Five bitches and the final Top Ten overall in Best of Breed competition (110 entered) under Mr. Alberto Berrios.

At the American Boxer Club National Specialty on May 10, Mugsy granddaughter Artistry's Kiss Me I'm Irish (by Mugsy son Ch. Skidoo's Wild Card ex Mugsy granddaughter Ch. Artistry's Serendipity) placed 4th in the 12-18 fawn bitch class under Mr. Alberto Berrios. Her breeder/owner is Laura Miller.

At the American Boxer Club National Specialty on May 8, Mugsy son Bayview Deja Vu (Link) placed second in the 6-9 fawn puppy dog class under Mrs. Sandy Orr. Link's breeders are Ken and Paula Morrison and Kay Isbell. His owners are Ken and Paula Morrison. His dam is major-pointed Bayview In The Groove.

At the American Boxer Club Futurity on May 8, Mugsy daughter Fanfare Who's That Lady (Jenna) won the 15-18 month fawn bitch class under Dr. Daniel Buchwald. Jenna was bred by Dotti Giovanetti, Lynda Yon, and Bob and Debbie White. She is owned by Dotti Giovanttti. Her dam is Ch. Rosend's Sophisticated Lady.

At the American Boxer Club Futurity on May 7, Mugsy son Bayview Deja Vu (Link) won the 6-9 fawn puppy dog class under Dr. Daniel Buchwald.

APRIL, 2007

At the Chief Solano Kennel Club show on April 21, Mugsy son Bayview Deja Vu (Link) was Winners Dog from the 6-9 puppy dog class for his first point under Terry Stacy breeder/owner handled by Ken Morrison. Link's breeders are Ken and Paula Morrison and Kay Isbell. His owners are Ken and Paula Morrison. His dam is major-pointed Bayview In The Groove.

At the Angeles Canyon Dog Club shows on April 21 and 22, Mugsy son Ch. Mircoa's River Raft Rider (Sawyer) swept the Best of Breed awards, winning the first day under judge Mrs. Joan Frailey and the second day under judge Ms. Marjorie Martorella. Sawyer was bred by Diana Greenhow. He is owned by Diana Greenhow and Zelma Goodman. His dam is U-Turn's Mystic Image.

At the Sacramento Kennel Club show on April 15, Mugsy daughter Fanfare Who's That Lady (Jenna) was Winners Bitch for a 3-point major under Miss Joan E. Luna. Jenna was bred by Dotti Giovanetti, Lynda Yon, and Bob and Debbie White. She is owned by Dotti Giovanttti. Her dam is Ch. Rosend's Sophisticated Lady.
