Earthquakes, tornadoes, blizzards, fire, flood, riot, economic collapse, may be in your future.This site is dedicated to supplying information that may assist you in becoming prepared for emergency situations that may occur.

We all hope that the seatbelts we wear, will never become necessary, but they are sure nice to have when we have an accident. The years 1997-1998 should be obvious signposts that "shit does happen". Emergency preparedness preparations are cheap insurance.

What will you do if the wind storm or blizzard knocks down the powerlines to your neigborhood ? Its not much fun sitting in the dark, with no heat.

Having been raised in Northern Michigan,(COLD) and currently living in California's high desert, (HOT) I can assure you that when the power goes out, it gets damned uncomfortable real quick.

Add the chaos of large scale damage due to earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, tornados, floods etc, and suddenly, your out of gas for your furnace, power for your lights and refridgeration, water to drink and wash with, and flush your toilet with.
